After three exciting days and 614 draft picks, the 2023 MLB Draft ended yesterday in the mid-afternoon. If you’ve been on a darkness retreat with Aaron Rodgers then you may not have heard that Paul Skenes was chosen 1-1 over his teammate Dylan Crews. However, even if you followed the draft closely, you may not know that Mr. Irrelevant at No. 614 was Western Carolina shortstop Pascanel Ferreras.

In between those picks, all 30 clubs stocked their player development systems with quantity and quality. Below are the five teams, in our opinion, who chose the wisest.
