Nick Oakley’s two home runs paced the Gauchos impressive offense at Fullerton tonight.
FULLERTON, Calif. — A year or two ago I made the comment in one of my write-ups that the UCSB offense was a little on the weak side. I got a message from Donegal Fergus, the Gauchos hitting coach, saying in no uncertain terms “we’ve got a good offense.”
Since coach Fergus looks like he could impale me with a jousting staff like something out of Game of Thrones, I decided to never doubt him again.
And tonight proved to be one of those times where coach Fergus says “In your face Media Boy” as the Gauchos posted crooked numbers[…]
