West Indies will play UAE for a three-match ODI series starting with the first ODI on June 4 on Sunday. The match starts at 6 pm IST which is 4.30 pm local time in Sharjah. All three matches will be played in Sharjah. The matches will be played on Sunday, Tuesday (June 6) and Friday (June 9) respectively.
Both teams have a massive difference in their ODI history. West Indies have played over 850 ODI games winning 411 matches and losing 403 games respectively. UAE, on the other hand, has just played 99 ODIs winning 36 and losing 62 games till date. Both sides have played just two ODIs against each other to date. One was played in 2015 and the second in 2018.

West Indies and UAE are among the ten teams who will play the World Cup qualifiers from June 18-July 9. The qualifiers will be played in Zimbabwe. The top 8 teams have qualified directly and the top two teams from the qualifiers will join them making this a 10-team World Cup.
West Indies last played an ODI series against South Africa in Match 2023. The series ended 1-1 with the Windies winning the second ODI and South Africa the third. The first ODI was washed out due to rain.

UAE last played in the ACC Premier League. They reached the final of the tournament but lost out to Nepal in the final by 7 wickets. The United Arab Emirates defeated Oman in the semi-final to make the final.
Heading into this ODI series West Indies are ranked tenth in the ICC ODI rankings while UAE are ranked 19th just above Papua New Guinea. Muhammad Waseem will lead the UAE team under the coaching of Robin Singh.
West Indies will be captained by Shai Hope under the guidance of Darren Sammy as a head coach. A few experienced players are rested in the series. The side has a lot of new faces. Brandon Kings, Alice Athanaze, and Shamarh Brooks whereas the bowling department includes Akeem Jordan, Dominic Drakes, Odean Smith, and Yannic Cariah. Most of the players in the Windies squad are young and inexperienced.
