There have been 56 Super Bowls, some more competitive and entertaining than others. A look at the best of the best when it comes to the NFL’s biggest game.

On Sunday afternoon in Glendale, Arizona, the National Football League will crown its 103rd champion. It’s simple math. The Super Bowl Era began in the 1966 season. There were 46 league champions crowned prior to the 56 Super Bowl titles. An NFL title is an NFL title.

This appears to be quite the matchup featuring the top two seeds in their respective conferences. It is Andy Reid’s AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs and Nick Sirianni’s NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles for all the marbles aka a Lombardi Trophy.

Meanwhile, here’s a look at the best of the best when it comes to Super Sunday. The focus here is on the actual game itself, with a smattering of historical significance. Will Super Bowl LVII crack the Top 10 down the road? Only time will tell.

Super Bowl LVII will be highlighted by the brothers Kelce. Jason is a five-time All-Pro center for the Philadelphia Eagles and Travis is a four-time All-Pro tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. Each owns a Super Bowl ring.

Of course, this won’t be the first time that siblings would share the spotlight on Super Sunday. 10 years ago, John Harbaugh led his Baltimore Ravens against Jim Harbaugh’s San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII at the Louisiana Superdome.

The AFC champions appeared well on their way to a victory. Jacoby Jones returned the second-half kickoff 108 yards and the Ravens led 28-6 just 11 seconds into the third quarter. Following a brief delay via a power outage at the Superdome, the Niners would score the next 17 points and pull within 28-23.

Justin Tucker added a field goal but Niners’ quarterback Colin Kaepernick ran 15 yards for a score and Jim Harbaugh’s team was down by two. A game-tying two-point conversion pass failed, Tucker kicked another field goal and San Francisco gained two yards on four plays from the Ravens’ seven-yard line in the final three minutes.
