The 21 Greatest NBA stars that played for a single team

0

The NBA has become known among casual fans for blockbuster trades and big signings that keep superstars on the move. While that can be exciting, particularly compared to other sports that have far less player movement, it does mean that most superstars don’t finish their careers with the team that they initially started with. In fact, a large number of stars fit that bill.

Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving have each played for four teams and counting, while Lebron James, James Harden, and Kawhi Leonard have all played for three. As a result, there seems to be a lack of loyalty on the part of both the players and the teams themselves. That unfortunately hurts the product by taking the attention away from the games and drawing more interest in the NBA’s non-stop rumor mill.

It wasn’t always this way, and fortunately, there were plenty of great players who stuck around and spent their entire careers with only one franchise. With that in mind, let’s go through and rank the 14 greatest players who spent their entire careers with one team.
