Suryakumar Yadav amassed 605 runs in 16 matches with a strike rate of 181.14. Suryakumar Yadav was a little bit scratchy during the initial matches of the tournament.
The form of MI skipper Rohit Sharma hurt the team a lot. Rohit Sharma managed to score 332 runs in 16 innings but struggled to make the most of the starts. Perhaps, the pressure of captaincy took a toll on his natural attacking game.

MI though would be somewhat happy as the likes of Cameron Green & Tim David won the matches for the team. Cameron Green, the flamboyant cricketer smashed 452 runs in 16 innings and struck 2 half-centuries and 1 ton.
The inexperienced batters Nehal Wadhera & Tilak Verma made the most of the opportunities. We witnessed how MI chased down 200+ targets multiple times but the team succumbed to pressure in Qualifier 2 against GT as the MI side couldn’t chase 234 runs which ruined all the hard work of the management.

I saw a T20 masterclass from Suryakumar Yadav- Sanjay Manjrekar
Sanjay Manjrekar was having an interaction with ESPNcricinfo and he said that he was stunned by the way Suryakumar Yadav smashed a ton against GT on 12th May.
“That hundred (Suryakumar Yadav) that he got at the Wankhede Stadium, right in front of my eyes, I saw a T20 masterclass. Plus, a glimpse into the future of T20 batting because what Surya was doing that night was unbelievable. It absolutely blew my mind,” said Sanjay Manjrekar.

Sanjay Manjrekar was quite impressed by the way Mohit Sharma made a return to competitive cricket after being a net bowler for the team.
“It has to be Mohit Sharma. He has always been this wonderful human being, a simple hardworking cricketer. His comeback and the kind of impact that he made, and the way he made an impact to the Titans team was a story in itself. When you see things like that, you get a bit emotional. My heart really went out to Mohit Sharma this season,” he added.
