COMPTON, Calif. — Happy Birthday to the California Collegiate League, as this year marks the 30th season of play for this occidental All-Star summer league..
To celebrate its third decade of play, the CCL held its yearly Showcase Game, as they call it, on July 13th. Split into two divisions – the North and the South – this league has 11 teams in it with five of them playing up in the Bay Area and six of them playing in the Los Angeles area.
