Shikhar Dhawan Achieves Massive Feat After His Unbeaten 99 Runs Against Sunrisers Hyderabad

Punjab Kings (PBKS) skipper Shikhar Dhawan achieved a massive feat after his innings in the 14th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Shikhar Dhawan led from the front for PBKS and played a spectacular innings against SRH to guide his team to the fighting total. He batted extraordinarily well and despite wickets tumbling at the other end, he kept ticking the scorecard and played sensational strokes. Asked to bat first, PBKS had the worst possible start as they lost Prabhsimran Singh on the first ball and then after that, they failed to get going. They lost wickets in quick succession of time and were reduced to 88/9 as SRH bowlers were all over them.

But Dhawan had other plans. He took SRH bowlers to the cleaners and smashed them all over the park. He scored unbeaten 99 runs in just 66 balls that helped his side post a total of 143 runs on the board, which at one moment seemed impossible. He batted with a strike rate of 150 and scored 12 fours and 5 sixes in his innings.

During his innings, he achieved a massive feat as he became only the second batter in the history of the league to bat with all his other teammates during a single IPL innings.  He joined Parthiv Patel, who achieved the feat in 2019 while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
