Schedule For India Tour Of Ireland 2023 Announced

Ireland fans would be pumped up with India all set to play 3 T20I match series commencing on 18th August. Last time in the 2022 series against Ireland, we witnessed high-scoring thrillers and close finishes.

It is assumed that the flamboyant all-rounder Hardik Pandya will lead the side f0r this 3 T20I match series. It won’t be wrong to say that BCCI will send a second-string squad for the series just like in 2022.

It would be a learning curve for Ireland ahead of the 2024 T20 WC qualifiers. All eyes will be on the duo of Paul Stirling and Andrew Balbirnie as the duo will have to do the bulk of the scoring if the side want to outplay India.

We’re delighted to welcome India Men back to Ireland for the second time in 12 months – Warren Deutrom

Chief Executive of Cricket Ireland Warren Deutrom stated that Ireland is delighted to have India for a 3-match T20I series. In 2022, India had won the series by 2-0. Warren Deutrom thanked BCCI for working with the board and was quite optimistic that having matches on Friday & Sunday will help in the availability of fans.

“We’re delighted to welcome India Men back to Ireland for the second time in 12 months. We saw two sold-out matches in 2022, so to have a three-match series this year should give even more fans the opportunity to enjoy what is always a memorable occasion,” Warren Deutrom,
