While Jos Buttler is having a great campaign in Indian Premier League 2023, he did not have the smoothest of starts with the bat in the ongoing game against Lucknow Super Giants in Jaipur.

In the first 4 games of the season, he smashed 3 fifties. However, in the last outing against Gujarat Titans, he was out for a duck. And perhaps that dismissal had a big impact on him as he started in an uncharacteristic manner against Lucknow Super Giants.

Jos Buttler’s huge six:

After the end of the first three overs, Jos Buttler could manage just 5 runs from the 14 balls he faced. He finally got into his groove in the 4th over by hitting a mammoth six. The right-handed batsman hit the fourth ball of the over for a 112-meter six.

It was a full-length delivery that was angled in from Yudhvir Singh. Buttler moved towards the leg and cleared his front leg before hitting the huge six over deep mid-wicket.

Earlier in the game, Lucknow Super Giants finished their innings 154 for 7. At one stage, the visitors were on 82 for no loss in the 11th over and were looking destined to post a score close to 200 runs. However, the Royals did well to pull things back in the end and restrict the Super Giants to less than 160.
