An unexpected visitor interrupted the ongoing IPL 2023 clash between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Dogs entering the field and interrupting the proceedings for a while have become a common sight nowadays in Indian cricket. But on Monday (April 10), an eagle interrupted the game for a while. The incident took place in the last over of RCB’s innings when Glenn Maxwell was facing Mark Wood.
As Wood ran in to bowl the second delivery of the over, he pulled out of his run-up after hearing something. And as he looked back to find out the reason, the cameras showed an Eagle in full flight over the field. Prior to that, the Eagle had flown into the sight of the batsman in order to catch an insect. The Eagle, however, failed to catch the insect before flying away.

Talking about the ongoing game, Royal Challengers Bangalore have piled up a mammoth total of 212 for 2 in the allotted 20 overs. Captain Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli, and Glenn Maxwell smashed the fifties to help their team pile up the big score.
