Did Not Expect This Type Of Innings From Him – Tom Moody
During a chat on ESPNcricinfo, Tom Moody praised Vijay Shankar’s innings and said that the all-rounder proved the critics wrong with his performance. Moody stated that Vijay Shankar is repaying the Gujarat Titans with his batting after the team showed faith in him by retaining him after a disappointing outing last season.
“Absolutely thrilled for Vijay Shankar, and I did not expect this type of innings from him. He struggled for couple of years to find that kind of form. He lost his confidence and got lost. I am pleased with Gujarat Titans who showed faith in him last year and now he is repaying them. I am so pleased that I have been proving wrong,” Tom Moody said.

I Am Glad That We Have Been Proving Run – Tom Moody

“We were wondering why David Miller is not coming on, and I am glad that we have been proving run. Vijay Shankar has possibly played the innings of the tournament,” Moody further added.
The Tamil Nadu-born cricketer will next be seen in action when the Hardik Pandya-led team takes on the Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Punjab Cricket Association IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali on Thursday, April 13.
