From opening day on February 17th to NCAA Tournament announcement day May 29th, there are 101 days. So that means that at the stroke of midnight, Saturday April 8th it was officially exactly between the 50th and 51st day of the 2023 season. Smack-dab in the middle of the season for Division I baseball.
