Nepal Announce 16-Member Squad For The World Cup Qualifiers

0

Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on Sunday (28th May) announced their squad for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers, which will take place in Zimbabwe next month. Rohit Poudel will captain the team in what will be their first-ever mega event.

The squad seems pretty similar to what they have been fielding over their last few games. Nepal have been brilliant with both bat and ball as they lost only one out of their last 18 games and qualified for the ICC World Cup Qualifiers as well as the Asia Cup.

Nepal are placed in Group A along with hosts Zimbabwe, West Indies, Netherlands, and the USA. With the kind of cricket they have displayed over the last few weeks, they can really pull an upset and qualify for the main event in India, slated to take place in October-November.
