According to Adrian Wojnarowski, the Golden State Warriors are trading James Wiseman to the Detroit Pistons in a multi-team trade.
The 21-year-old center is being moved to a team with re-building purposes, where he’ll be more able to showcase his talent.
At the same time, Twitter had a few things to say about why the Warriors moved him.
And like that, the Wiseman era ends.
Great kid. Obviously, he ultimately being a bad fit with the Dubs. Sucks, but I wish nothing but the best for Wiseman and his family.

I’m old enough to remember when some people said the Timberwolves should draft James Wiseman over Anthony Edwards.

Did the Warriors just trade James Wiseman – who was drafted in between Anthony Edwards and LaMelo Ball two years ago – for five second-round picks ??????

James Wiseman NBA career really begins now, with the Pistons. Wild.

If Golden State ends up not getting anyone to fill Wiseman’s spot it’ll be a big cost savings move. This won’t sit well with GS fans lol

I hope Wiseman turns it around. Kid did nothing wrong. Got drafted to a team that don’t need his skillset and didn’t have the time to develop him.
