The 2022-23 NBA All-Star Game Reserves were announced Thursday night, with Trae Young, De’Aaron Fox, and James Harden not making the final cut.
As expected, NBA Twitter had a lot of reactions to the players who got snubbed from the 2023 All-Star teams.
No matter how bad the snubs get, don’t ever expand All-Stars rosters. Don’t water down a great accomplishment.

You are corny if you name All Star snubs w/o taking someone else off the team.
— Jalen Rose (@JalenRose) February 3, 2023
Congratulations to every deserving All Star who got snubbed. You don’t have to go to Utah.

Anthony Edwards & D Fox should be all stars. Brunson on the East as well… Few players always get snubbed every year. Use it as motivation 🏁

De’Aaron Fox, Siakam and Anthony Edwards the three biggest snubs of the All-Stat game.
— Brooklyn Netcast (@BrooklynNetcast) February 3, 2023
Is De’Aaron Fox the biggest snub this year?
— Mark Haynes (@markhaynesnba) February 3, 2023
Trae Young not being an All-Star is absurd .
— Ben Stinar (@BenStinar) February 3, 2023
List of NBA players averaging 27 PTS and 9+ AST
Trae Young
End of list.

Harden averaging 21 7boards & 11 dimes ! They def pushing narratives
— Famouslos32 (@famouslos32) February 3, 2023
I knew Harden was disrespected but today is the nail in the coffin …
the agenda against him is genuinely insane.

I don’t understand why coaches selected Paul George over De’Aaron Fox or Anthony Edwards for an All-Star reserve spot. Fox and Edwards have posted better numbers and they’re the engine of their teams.
— Kevin O’Connor (@KevinOConnorNBA) February 3, 2023
Last month I asked De’aaron Fox if he deserves to be an all star this season. He responded: “Yes. And honestly I should have already been an all star.”
Solid numbers every season. Still hasn’t been an all star. Obviously everyone can’t make it but still sucks when deserving.

If De’Aaron Fox is in the East, he’s named an All-Star. Get rid of conferences for the selections!
— Tas Melas (@TasMelas) February 3, 2023
Fox did everything that he was told he had to do to make the allstar team. Then they go and give it to a guy putting up 16/6/4 who’s missed half the season💀
— KingsMuse (@kings_muse) February 3, 2023
Multiple guys had good cases, but Fox and Siakam should’ve been in.
— Chris Herring (@Herring_NBA) February 3, 2023
Jalen Brunson robbed. That man is an all-star.

Leaving Jimmy Butler off the East squad was the one thing that I thought could happen that was A) possible and B) totally insane.
— John Hollinger (@johnhollinger) February 3, 2023
No Jamal Murray or Aaron Gordon on the West All-Star team. Just one All-Star from the No. 1 seed in the West.
— Harrison Wind (@HarrisonWind) February 3, 2023
Paul George is a better player than Aaron Gordon.
This season Aaron Gordon was more worthy of All-Star.
— Chris Mannix (@SIChrisMannix) February 3, 2023
Michael Malone: Aaron Gordon deserves to be an All-Star. Said he was “very” surprised that the #Nuggets didn’t get a second All-Star.
Called it a “travesty” that the coaches didn’t vote Gordon into the game.

Anthony Davis NOT an All-Star? Yikes!
