Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) franchise has shown faith in Kieron Pollard and has retained him for CPL 2023. Kieron Pollard had scored 132 runs in 10 matches in CPL 2022 and was struggling to clear the fence.

TKR head coach Phil Simmons was having an interaction with the media and said that the franchise is quite happy to retain most of the local players. Phil Simmons was delighted to have Dwayne Bravo in the side and mentioned that the addition of Bravo strengthens the core.
“We are very happy to be able to retain most of the Caribbean players from last year’s TKR squad. The experience of Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, and Nicholas Pooran coupled with Dwayne Bravo’s return gives our squad a very strong core,” said Phil Simmons.

“In youngsters like Akeal Hosein, Jayden Seales, and Mark Deyal, we have some of the best young talent from Trinidad representing TKR. We’re looking forward to the remaining international signings.
