In what has been the latest development as per the reports in News 18, it learned that Dream 11 is all set to replace Byju’s as the jersey sponsor of the Indian cricket team for the next four years. This comes after BCCI invited the sponsors on June 14.

From Byju’s, the BCCI used to earn around INR 5.5 crores for every bilateral fixture but the value was dropped to INR 1.7 crore for ICC tournaments as the governing body didn’t allow the sponsor’s name to be in the center. It is learned that the price of Dream11 is likely to be lesser than what BCCI was earning from Byju’s.
