ICC World Test Championship Final: WATCH

Indian skipper Rohit Sharma won the crucial toss in the final of the ICC World Test Championship and he elected to have a go with the ball first, while India started well with Mohammed Siraj dismissing Usman Khawaja, Australia have managed to make a comeback against Rohit Sharma’s side thanks to an unbeaten 58 runs partnership between David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne.

India will be looking for a crucial breakthrough in the contest as the two batters look settled down in the middle and could cause some massive damage against Rohit Sharma’s side.

Marnus Labuschagne too on his part has been on the top of his game as he is playing a tad outside the crease to negate the leg before shouts from the Indian bowlers.

Earlier in the day during the toss, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma while walking down the stairs almost fumbled his steps and almost fell down before he managed to get his footing to walk out to the middle for the toss.

Despite winning the toss, Rohit Sharma and his side haven’t been able to make the most of the conditions as the duo of David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne have done have great job so far to negate any threat from the Indian bowlers.

The team have already lost one of their three reviews so far in the innings with Shardul Thakur’s delivery missing the stumps mainly due to Marnus Labuschagne playing a couple of steps outside the stumps.
