Novak Djokovic (No. 5 ranking) will face Tommy Paul (No. 35) in the semifinals of the Australian Open on Thursday, January 26.

Djokovic heads into the semifinals after his three-set victory on Wednesday over Andrey Rublev (6-1, 6-2, 6-4) in the quarterfinals. Paul won his last match on Tuesday in the quarterfinals over Ben Shelton 7-6, 6-3, 5-7, 6-4.
