“Fans Will Get To Witness Their Beloved Thala,” Harbhajan Singh Says MS Dhoni Returning Next Year Will be Biggest News For Fans

Former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh opened up about Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper MS Dhoni returning to play in the next edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He said that it’ll be the biggest news for the fans as they get to see their Thala don Yellow jersey again. 

Chennai Super Kings thumped Gujarat Titans by 5 wickets to win their 5th title of the IPL. Skipper MS Dhoni led the side exceptionally well and after a horrendous outing last year, they made a strong comeback to win the title.

MS Dhoni, however, put the talks to rest. Although he himself isn’t sure if he will return to play in the next season or not, he said that if he returns back it’ll be a gift from him to the fans. But he needs to work hard. He said:

After MS Dhoni said that he will try hard to be back next year, Harbhajan Singh said that expectations are going to be high from Chennai Super Kings next year. But they know how to handle that pressure. He elaborated: 

“This is the biggest news for fans. MS Dhoni will come back next year and he will return with even better fitness. Fans will get to witness their beloved Thala don that yellow jersey again. The expectations are going to be high from CSK next year and this team knows pretty well how to handle that pressure of expectations.” 

MS Dhoni has left an unmatched legacy in the IPL. He has won titles in the league and has played record 10 finals as well. Apart from that he has played playoffs in every barring two seasons in 2020 and 2022.
