The party is still raging in Baton Rouge, but 10 days after LSU won its seventh national championship, the D1Baseball staff is starting to look ahead to next season. A lot can change between now and then – what with the transfer portal and the upcoming MLB draft – but here’s our staff’s first stab at predicting the 2024 College World Series field.
The two teams that squared off in the 2023 CWS Finals – Florida and LSU – lead the way as the only teams picked by all 10 staffers. TCU and Arkansas follow them with eight votes apiece, while Oregon State and Tennessee each received five.
