England and Australia are squaring off in the second match of the Ashes 2023 at the Lord’s Cricket Ground in London. The game is currently evenly poised as both the teams have been exceptionally well with both bat and ball, giving immense entertainment to fans.
While the competition between bat and ball has been enthralling to watch, Nasser Hussain made sure that entertainment stays even in the commentary box. The former English player took a jibe at Sir Andrew Strauss, who had nothing to say in reply.

During day 2 of the ongoing game, Nasser Hussain highlighted one of the stats of Andre Strauss, saying that he left 28% of his balls in his Test career. The batting great didn’t have much to reply and said that he doesn’t know if he should be proud of this stat or not.
If this was not enough, Nasser Hussain continued poking fun at Andrew Strauss and went on to say: “One of your favourite shots – ‘the leave’?”

Ashes 2023: England give a solid reply to Australia’s first innings total of 416 runs
England won the toss and opted to field first. But their decision backfired as Australian batters batted staggeringly well and scored runs at a fast pace.
David Warner struck a magnificent 66 up the order whereas Travis Head was too among the runs as he blasted a wonderful 77 runs knock. But a major contribution came from the bat of Steve Smith, who struck his 32nd Test ton and took his team to a total of 416 runs.
Ollie Robinson and Joshua Tongue bagged three wickets each whereas Joe Root along with James Anderson and Stuart Broad shared one wicket each.
In reply to Australia’s 416 runs, England started pretty well as Zack Crawley (48) and Ben Duckett stitched a solid 91 runs partnership. Ollie Pope played a vital hand too as he smashed 42 runs as the hosts crossed the 200-run mark in around 40 overs.
