2023 Super Bowl final score prediction for Chiefs vs. Eagles

There are a million prop bets you can make on the Super Bowl, but none is more lucrative than predicting the exact score of the game.

The odds of you predicting the right score, are of course, equally crazy to the possible payout, but true bettors know a buck and a dream can take you a long way.

Eagles vs Chiefs Correct Score Prediction

There’s no science behind picking the exact score of a game, no mathematical formula or betting trend that tells you which way to lean. There’s only a pick and a prayer, but it all starts with one key ingredient.

For any exact score to be right, you gotta pick the winner first. Otherwise, any bet you make will be wrong to start.

While I think Patrick Mahomes is amazing, I think this Eagles team is deeper and more talented than KC, especially on the line and skill positions. Therefore, I’m starting my prediction with the Eagles winning.

The next thing I consider is whether this will be a high-scoring or a low-scoring game. The total is set at 50.5 points. These are two of the highest-scoring offenses in the league and Vegas is usually right, so I’ll stick around 50.5 total points being scored in my predictions.

Now that I know my winner and the total, the last thing I do is look at the final scores of the last few Super Bowls to see if they tend to end in even or odd numbers. There’s no scientific reason to do this, but it’s my thing so let’s roll with it.

In the last 10 years, the final score of the Super Bowl has been even 6-of-10 times. The last four have alternated even and odd with last year’s being an odd-number finish. I’m going to back that trend and say this year will be an even-score finish.

With that in mind, here are my final correct score predictions with the odds for that wager in brackets.

27-24 has the lowest odds, so that’s where Vegas pins it at, but I don’t see it being that score, nor do I like +4900 odds on a longshot bet like this.

I’ll leave you with one last nugget: Super Bowl scores tend to be unique (the same score has only happened three times) and all three of these have never been the final score of a previous Super Bowl.

Happy hunting!
